This event (5k, 10k & Half-Marathon) takes places at the Carver Barracks near Saffron Walden and the circuit is run on the disused Debden Airfield. It is organised by the Active Training World company, with some of the entrance fee going to military charities. It is run on the Saturday of Remembrance weekend in November. The course is a 5k circuit, very flat, with no traffic and a little mundane, with 2 laps for the 10k race and 3 laps with an additional loop for the half-marathon. It is a well organised event and a good race to try for a personal best, if the weather is good, as it is a fast, flat course. The 5k race starts at 9am, 10k at 10.30am and the half-marathon at 1pm. Car parking is free and onsite.
